Through that tower is where the media will walk through to get to the death chamber where #GaryRayBowles will be put to death. The execution, here in Raiford, is scheduled for 6pm.
Michelle Glady, FDOC spokeswoman, spoke a few moments ago to the media about the upcoming execution of #GaryRayBowles. He woke up today in “good spirits” and did not see family or a spiritual advisor. He is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection at 6pm.
Vans are pulling up shortly to take media to waiting area inside the prison. We will be w/o Internet access while we wait 1 hour or more before they lead us into the execution chamber. 2 applications for a stay of execution were submitted to SCOTUS. No ruling yet #GaryRayBowles
