Sikandar--ep 69--end.

Historical--According to Mary Renault who based her fiction on Arian and Plutarch, who based on Calisthenes (Aristotle's nephew), who accompanied Alexander all the way to almost the Jhelum River--but was killed by Alexander:
Roxanne was a Bactrian whom Alexander married.
Barsine was an older, earlier mistress who was the Greek mercenary Memnon's wife.
According to Renault and later Oliver Stone, Hephaistion was Alexander's favorite, a top general and his homosexual lover and died of typhoid.
Alexander was greatly disturbed by Hephaistion's death.
The mutiny took place at the mouth of the Jhelum (Hydapses)
Alexander turned back and went through the Gedrosian Desert (The Thar Desert)
and sent Nearchas and his navy back through Strait of Homuz and they reunited--but
Alexander died in Babylon--some experts say of West Nile virus from mosquito bites --
His body was then abducted by Ptolomy who took it to Alexandria, Egypt and formed the Ptolemaic dynasty, which included Cleopatra.
I am writing a novel, but time is running out on me.
As I said before, this version is Siddhartha Kumar Tewary's "United Bharat/India version", but nation states did not exist them. Earlier series is called Porus.
Porus was a minor, regional king and not mentioned in the Indian chronicles at all--so this is all made up by Tewarthy--but I like the pirates and the whole"Blue Dynasty."
Also Channakya (Kautilya) was not a big, tall handsome man--but was small had his teeth trimmed --and was with Chandragupta Maurya.
There is also a Chandragupta series.
Channakya is known as the world's first political scientist. Yes, the world's, not just India's.
Nation states were only formed in the 19th century.
In the Buddha's times and Alexander's times only Mahajanapada--like Taxila, Magadha etc existed. They were city states and there were tribes--
There wasn't any India or Greece yet.
It used to confuse me a lot, but now no longer.
