Of Amazon--some items, especially Amazon Basics--are very good--Consumer Report from Me.

what comes from other sellers are not so reliable--but I buy mostly "sure fire items" like a $10 toaster, a Rival stand mixer, and a step ladder.
An air purifier also is working fine, but the $100 Singer sewing machine is stuck. It's not very old, only about 5-6 years.
Otherwise things like yarn, fabrics, used books, food items, toilet items, stationary, not much can go wrong with those.
I find Amazon has the best selection, prices and ease of use.
I seldom buy clothes now and stopped making clothes also. Nowhere to go since I work out of my home.
Everyone in this high rise has been buying online since Covid 19.
The box room is always over-flowing. Cardboard recycling is now big business.
I cook almost all my own food. I only eat about 2 meals a month in a restaurant. Then I bring all leftovers home, so about $30-46 feeds me for 3 meals after what I eat in the restaurant.
I used to make my own bread, but now store-bought brown bread is cheaper, though the loaves and slices are getting smaller. I'll blog about food and tariffs and shrinkflation later.
