global warming.
use tick repellent, don't wear shorts, wear long pants and boots and connect boots and pants with elastic band round your ankle.
Ticks can lead to Lyme disease, the antibiotic regimen is hard to bear, esp. for children and can lead to long term brain damage and arthritis.
It's connected to global warming.
Be well and "take care out there among the English" as Amish said in movie Witness.
