I'm going to wear nothing but patchwork jackets made from my own and my mother's old clothes from 1950s-1990s.

And I only have one pair each summer sandals and winter shoes.

Famous artist Georgia O'Keefe wore white clothes in summer and black in winter.

FYI--I don't have a handbag I bought myself for more than $50. I use a canvas tote bag all the time. I gave away 2-3 very nice handbags I recd from relatives to other relatives. I recyle or gave away all my high heel shoes and all my career clothes a very long time ago. I use the cheapest shampoos, same as my relative's pet dogs. I keep gifts of food.

I donated lightly used clothing to thrift shops and annual clothing drives in my neighborhood, which gives items to women going for job interviews. I sell cothes I made myself at craft fairs and used books at yard sales at well below market price. I buy my craft supplies at yard fairs also, also most cooking utensils and bake ware. I cook my own food--I believe in removing extraneous items and that includes "those I don't need." But I am not rude to people. I have the right to choose my own friends and my own heros.

Possibly I've seen too much. I hope I won't see more,but I know I will.
