Sometimes we must interfere. . . There is so much injustice and suffering crying out for our attention . . . writers and poets, prisoners in so many lands governed by the left and by the right." Me with my parents and siblings in 1950--when we all returned to Burma--based on a photo by my uncle
Thiri Pyanchi U Shwe Shane, Chief Engineer at Burma Railways, who later worked on the Asian Railway Project with ECAFE/ESCAP, based in Bangkok, Thailand. He said, the greatest sadness of his life was that the railway did not link up through Burma.
My brother found this photo.
My painting is impressionistic, not realistic.
But I like this painting.
Painting--Kaung.
