Kamayut police (hero of day) says will take legal action against "demonstrators" (Mistah Wirathu the racist monk sent a statement)

because permission was given only at another venue, not in front of the US Embassy--which is reasonable enough.

Mark my words, claws are coming out.

After it's rigged everything to its liking in years 2011-2016, junta is still not content and must do sabotage, using "democratic means."

This is clearly a junta-sponsored "demonstration" of over 300 people including "monks."

Ex-monk U Gambira of 2007 Saffron Revolution fame, Burma, sentenced to hard labor--

If it is not a deal between the junta and the NLD, as Veronica Pedrosa thinks, it is certainly an attempt to discredit the "new administration." Since U Gambira was initially arrested in Jan 2016 on charges of illegally crossing the border, this plot was probably on junta's books since then, and he was sentenced to hard labor only now.

Remember Yettaw the Mormon who swam to Daw Suu's house?

Junta knew about that too and let it go on.

In any case, it's an attempt to show who is still the boss.

The teak trees have become lamborghinos
the friends of Burma have become friends of em
the businessmen have become cronies

drug money has been washed
the country has been prostituted

the broadcasters continue
their bump and grind routine

freedom has flown out of a hole in the wall
accompanied by so-called democracy
in the nominally civilian government

real civilian government
lame duck with wings clipped.

Poor duck waiting to be steamed pekinged
betutued

in the triple boiler

baked underground process
wrapped in banana and coconut
leaves

the people are still rejoicing

not knowing

like 1988

they've lost

again

and again

and again.

Daw Suu will die endlessly campaigning

and proving herself.

How many times?

Bright Sun only threatens once

when the army shoots

it shoots to kill.

In 2007, Kenji Nagaii's hands held his camera up a few seconds
then he fell on his side and died
street side.

The soldier poked at him with a stick? Like checking a dead dog.

Who gave the order.

The soldier has never been court martialed.

Japan hardly kicked up a fuss.

In 1988, Ko Phone Maw was shot

Win Maw Oo and many others were shot

in 1962 many were shot

at the port many were shot.

As recently as 2 years ago

Ko Par Gyi was shot

shot shot shot

hit hit hit

Don't cry Ma Nandar--

Diamond Diamond is wearing

The real power

Lame duck new Burmese admin--poor duck trying to fly--

It is uncertain how much power "the new administration" is being given by the junta.
Therefore it should avoid making ambitious statements such as it will resolve the Rangoon traffic problem. See below. The US based radio station should stop enticing them to do so.

Why?

The junta is still firmly in control and is likely to throw in a wild card anytime.

It is their game, it is their army.

The less promises made on the part of the civilian/NLD appointees the better.

The next thing you know, the junta will create an incident or incidents and say it had to step in or else there will be anarchy.

They love this word "anarchy" as much as they hate the words democracy and federalism and human rights.

Mark my words.

See what happens during Thingyan.

The interviewee below said that they banned the commercial pavilions as they were being used to sell drugs.

The hard drugs business may go underground.

Who knows how much formadelhyde!!! is already in the lahpet or pickled tea.
