Thrift shop finds and upcycing--so far I don't go very far--just village yard sale--
https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2025/sep/18/how-to-start-thrifting-secondhand-furniture-pack-blankets-towels
But still I've found beautiful embroidered Chinese tablecloths, lots of other tablecloths, new cookware for baking, a nice hand-painted blue and white milkjug that I didn't buy in Amsterdam.
Other items were given me by friends or I gave some items away--
I always buy "once loved" books.
I upcycled almost all my beautiful batik and Burmese woven sarongs and Thai cottons.
I don't do too much sewing now.
I'm still working on the needlepoint yarn and cotton mesh I received from an anonymous donor through Fiber Group and Village Center.
Right now I am mostly writing and painting, but there's never enough time.
Chair covered with in process crafts. Paintings on wall all by me.
