Here's the entire novel--But the written version is much more crude or frightening at the same time that it is also beautiful.

Maybe that's why my Firefox would not open it--after ep 8. It wanted me to verify I am an adult. The character of Murong Jinge is completely different, the prologue also different.

That said, I still think the original novel is better, though the TV series is pretty good--esp. the casting of the Crown Prince and Murong Jinghe.

Worth reading, so read it.
