Saw Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial today.
https://www.nps.gov/mlkm/learn/building-the-memorial.htm
Just wonderful, so animated and life-like, from tweed trousers to wonderful face, and large strong hands, was sculpted by a Chinese master in Chansha, China, think about that, a Black Hero by a Chinese sculptor.
I could have sworn an African American like writer Ta Nahisi Coates sculpted it.
Just wonderful.
I got there close to sunset and with the cherry blossoms and everything, it was memorable, but sorry, no pictures, camera kaput.
