Bravo Jenny Beaven--costume designer--

Bravo Jenny Beaven, see below.

You are being honored for your work.

Not for what you wear when you get a prize.

She should have worn one of her masks from Mad Max--

I would probably be better dressed, but I would carry one of my art works as an accessory.

Imagine coming up the red carpet, holding a mask she made instead of a handbag.

I must remember that.

Artists can't be expected to be thin, blond and tall and wear $100,000 dresses.

I did not know they were that expensive, these designer dresses.

I agree with her, I only look at Alexander McQueen too, he is the true fine artist.

Ruth Prawer Jhabvala--I have a volume of her short stories--which I like a great deal.
