Tim O'Brien is not the same person as Timothy O'Brien author of Trumpnation, though both are excellent writers.

Of all the books I have read The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien is probably the most unforgetable.
I bought his If I die in the Combat Zone, Box me up and ship me Home, in Gottenberg, Sweden, in 2002.
The Things They Carried, is a list of things American soldiers carried in their pockets in Vietnam, and is a classic.
