Ethelred the Unready--

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGzDLpsoq5Y

He wasn't really "unready" but "Un-Red" which means "bad."

Had to pay tribute money to the Danes, and was succeeded by a Dane, Canute.

It's amazing to me that they had iron, chain mail, helmets, and books with paper and coins.

A mint was not established in Mandalay in Burma until the 19th century.

Before that, I don't know what kind of metals, it must have been gold and silver, but how it was used for payment.

In Pitsanulok, in Thailand, I was shown silver? ingots which were used as money in the 16th century.

I was in search of Narasuan.
