Highly recommended--Poet James Dickey's only novel--set in W. Virginia.
Recommended to me by the friends when we went to "Linda and Sam Vail's" jointly owned 225 acres in W. Virginia.
(Not their real name and the acreage was less)
I have read this twice but not seen the film.
