The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini--

Reading Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner--

true, I am a bit late.

Saw the movie, I think in 2004.

But the book is always better--and it is a masterpiece.

Now I can't determine why that woman in the book group (not born in America) called A Thousand Splendid Suns, Hosseini's second book, "not literature."

To my mind those foreign born know better what literature is.

Oh well--

The Kite Runner is dark and disturbing, but real, and the book delves much deeper than the movie, as is often the case.
