Forensic linguist who found Unabomber weighs in on who NYTS op ed anonymous writer might be.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSB6T9RJe6o
I went to one of his presentations last year when he was promoting his book.
Unabomber used to say something backwards, and his own brother identified him once FBI/James Fritzgerald publicized this fact in the news.
But it took a long time before he was stopped and bombings and deaths went on.
--For writers, novelists, it's called a verbal tic.
Some favorite thing they like to say.
One person I know says, "you know, you know" all the time, maybe as a place holder while he's thinking.
People are pointing to use of the uncommon word "lodestar"
All kinds of guesses
Mattis
Pompeo
Coates
Kushner
Sanders
Pence
But I don't think it is Conway.
Maybe somebody not glamorous such as Mark Felt the legendary Deep Throat, whose identity was revealed decades later, though Woodward, Bernstein and Bradlee knew all along.
Today, John Dean of John Watergate fame testified at Kavanaugh Hearing.
I think the op ed is helping tilt the balance against trump and that can only be a good thing.
Every little push helps until the humpty dumpty falls off the wall and can't be put together again.
