Learn to skim intelligently in your reading. As time goes on, Google everything on your own, because wikipedia is constantly updated. Date at the bottom of each article says when it was updated. You know it is publicly edited,but I don't do wiki myself because already have too much to do. Also I have seen some mistakes, or poor editing and posting, repetition and errors with grammar. However, it is still a good first step in your research. Then open links to the references at the bottom of each article. I was surprised that even someone with a Princeton Ph.D. (in theology) had no idea what I was talking about when I said this, and was inclined to dismiss all of Wikipedia as "unreliable."
