Comment left on Ko Aung Zaw's Facebook page ref - Irrawaddy article - Daw Suu said copper mine protestors should stop protests etc

What's happening? She cannot take a stance that benefits the junta and China - this is going to blow up in everyone's face - not just with the copper mine but also tens of thousands acres of farm land taken over all over the country - Irrawaddy Magazine should add up the acreages and do a special report - or AI, HRW etc should.

The late Leo Nichols--I met him and his wife once at a dinner party for "Timber friends." I left Burma in 1980s and heard of his death while working at RFA.
